Private billing

All Functional & Lifestyle Medicine appointments are privately billed.

  • A credit card is required at booking
  • 100% of the consultation fee is charged prior to appointment commencement
  • An invoice is provided after your appointment

Private health insurance

Some private health funds offer rebates for nutritional or functional medicine, depending on your level of cover.

  • We provide an invoice with provider details
  • Rebates are claimed directly through your insurer

Australian Defence Force Veterans

There are several pathways through which Defence Force Veterans may be able to access services.

🧠 Rehabilitation Counselling

Private billing

  • Privately billed appointments
  • Credit card required at booking
  • 100% of the fee charged prior to appointment
  • Invoices provided for your records

Please note: Private health insurance rebates are not currently available for rehabilitation counselling.

NDIS

Rehabilitation counselling is classified as a Therapeutic Support under the NDIS.

  • The Hot Mess Studio is not a registered NDIS provider
  • We work with self-managed and plan-managed clients only
  • Appointments are privately billed
  • An invoice is provided for NDIS claiming purposes

Job Access – Employment Assistance Fund

Clients with a diagnosed psychological condition impacting employment may be eligible for funding through Job Access.

  • Appointments are privately billed
  • An invoice is provided for reimbursement purposes

WorkCover Queensland

Rebecca is a registered provider with WorkCover Queensland.

  • Invoices are submitted directly to WorkCover
  • Referral is required via your case advisor, GP, or allied health provider
